Yes. Sea cans/storage containers are designed to be wind and watertight, helping protect stored items from rain, snow, moisture, and harsh weather conditions. Their heavy-duty steel construction and sealed doors also make them highly resistant to pests and rodents when the container is properly maintained and securely closed
What sizes of Storage containers are available?
The most common sea can sizes are 10-foot, 20-foot, and 40-foot containers. High-cube containers are also available for customers needing additional interior height. The right size depends on the amount of storage space and the type of items being stored.

How is a storage container delivered?
Storage containers are typically delivered using a tilt-deck truck. The container is carefully unloaded and placed directly at your desired location on-site.
Is Delivery Included in the price?
No, Delivery costs are additional to rental fees and vary depending on location, site accessibility, and container size. Local Sarnia Delivery charges are $125/move. A detailed quote will outline all applicable delivery charges.
How quickly can delivery be arranged?
A storage container can be delivered as soon as the same or next day.
Can loaded containers be moved?
Yes, loaded storage containers can be moved using a tow truck.
How much space is needed for delivery?
For a 20’ unit plan for approximately 50ft of straight line clearance for out tilt deck truck to unload and approximately 100’ for a 40’ container to be delivered. To ensure a safe and efficient delivery the site should have adequate space for the truck to maneuver, sufficient overhead clearance and a reasonably level surface. Our team with you to confirm proper access and placement requirements before delivery.
Do I need to prepare the site before delivery?
Yes. The delivery area should be clear of obstacles, debris, vehicles, low-hanging branches, and overhead wires. Ensuring the site is level and accessible helps prevents delays during delivery.
Are our storage containers climate controlled or insulated?
No, our containers are not climate controlled or insulated. While they do have vents, they are designed to be strong, secure and weather resistant, but they do not include built in heating, cooling or humidity control.
Are permits required to have a Storage container on your property?
Rules vary by municipality/HOA. Please check local by laws, especially for long term placements.
Is there a minimum rental period, Can I rent short-term or long-term?
There is no minimum or maximum rental period for our storage containers. A minimum of one month’s rental fee applies to all rentals. After the first month, rental charges are prorated based on the number of days the container is in use.
Can sea cans be modified?
Absolutely. We Offer in house modifications! Sea cans can be customized with doors, windows, ventilation, electrical systems, shelving, lighting, insulation, heating, and more. Modified containers are commonly used as offices, workshops, retail spaces, and specialized storage units
Do we offer on-site storage at our yard?
Yes, we offer secure onsite storage at our yard for an additional monthly fee.
